I can't speak for Brad, but I think I enjoy it because I really took to the character of Jack, and look foward to learning more about his mysterious past. Another reason is that it's sort of a combination of X-Files and Doctor Who to me. I love that Gwen isn't a supermodel and that all of the characters are flawed in some very human way. They're not supergeniuses, or magical heroes (with the exception of Jack's immortality). I think it'll be great once it finds its feet. So far, my favorite episode has been "They Keep Killing Suzie".
