Welcome back Culture Crew!

We go straight to the sugar this week, as we open this episode with Geek Cuisine!! From the makers of Cookie Dough Bites, we have Cupcake Bites! Do they live up to their brother, Cinnamon Bun Bites, or are they too sweet for even us to handle?

TV and DVD talk shall not suffer the summer hiatus! Glenn starts us off with a promising Teen Wolf and The Nine Lives of Chloe King. He is watching Falling Skies and holds out hope. On Netflix, Carly has been watching the much beloved Flash Forward. While not watching things with her, Glenn is really loving this season of Justified. The pair have finally started watching Legend of The Seeker! Glenn shows off his uber special edition collection of The Six Million Dollar Man, including seventeen hours of special features. It includes crossover episodes with The Bionic Woman and every made for tv movie. Christina votes to buy The Avengers set for Christmas.Brad recommends the reboot of Bionic Woman and Christina can’t think of Michelle Ryan’s name. Adam is kicking himself for not watching Community from day one, and he brought over some classic episodes to share with the others. The Dungeons and Dragons episode is one of their favorites and it reminds Christina of The IT Crowd. The Last Exile made Adam’s Netflix queue and intrigues Christina with the settings. He talks about Donald Glover in Mystery Team and shares the storyline. Space Battleship Yamato made his list of beautiful CGI. He picked up the 15 disc edition of The Lord of The Rings Trilogy on blu-ray, but doesn’t like that each movie is split between two discs. Without Brad, Christina is watching Mr. Bean on Netflix. After her Neil Gaiman binge of books, she watched Stardust. She just started watching Mad Men, loving the Whedon and other sci-fi alumni. After they finished Stargate Atlantis, Brad and Christina have begun Star Trek Enterprise. Having a very small sampling of Star Trek to start with, Christina is really enjoying it. Brad picks some nits, but finds it good overall. They are up on the season premiere of True Blood and Christina is looking forward to seeing how far it varies from the books. Everyone is eagerly awaiting Torchwood: Miracle Day!

In closing, Glenn wants us all to go to Fandom Fest and Derby City Comicon. He is getting farther into James Rollins’ The Black Order books. Adam is excited to move and entreats us to watch Community and go out and play. Christina is listening to Game of Thrones and Sandstorm, having finished listening to the second of the Sally Lockhart mysteries by Phillip Pullman. Brad is reading Game of Thrones as well, but on his Kindle. Glenn and Carly’s screenplay Dragon’s Triangle: Treasure of The Naga is on Amazon Studios, so head over and check it out!
